In-Store: Heart Placemat Class

BEGINNER FRIENDLY! STASH BUSTER!

In-Store class taught by Jen. SATURDAY JAN 25 10-2pm.

This heart placemat class is a perfect Valentine's day project and great way to use up scraps! We pull these placemats out every February!  This is a beginner friendly project is a great stash buster and we'll be quilting as we go!. We'll supply a heart template, but if you'd rather make them rectangular, no problem!

We supply

• Double sided fusible stabilizer (enough for 2 placemats)
• template 
• sewing machine & necessary accessories
• iron in classroom

You Bring:

• coordinating scraps (you'd like for the placemat front) Various sizes between 2-20 inches. Ideally trimmed into squares or rectangles, (this can happen in class too)
• 2 fat quarters. (this will be the BACK of your placemat)
• Small iron/ironing pad (otherwise you can use what we have, but then you won't have to share)
• Thread; cotton or polyester is fine. Thread colour should coordinate with your scraps.
